Washington taser lawsuit filed
A woman who was shocked with a taser last July by police in Redmond, Washington, filed a lawsuit against the Redmond police department last Friday.
The woman was bringing her car to a stop at a red light on July 10th when she suffered a diabetic attack and rear-ended a car that had stopped in front of her. The lawsuit claims that police who responded believed the woman was intoxicated and used excessive force by shocking the woman with a taser. The lawsuit seek unspecified damages. The police department has not commented on the lawsuit.
