Texas cop charged with official oppression
A Sugar Land, Texas, police officer was charged with making unwanted criminal sexual advanced on a woman who he was supposed to be assisting.

KTRK reports that officer Michael Zimmerhanzel was called to transport a woman to her car - a courtesy provided by the department. The woman filed a formal complaint against the officer in February and he was placed on paid leave shortly afterwards. Zimmerhanzel resigned from his job on March 22nd in the middle of the investigation. The complaint was determined to be criminal in nature and the officer was indicted by and grand jury on charges of official oppression and abuse of authority.
