Texas cop charged with child sex abuse not arrested, remains on duty
A Dallas, Texas, police officer has been charged with the sexual abuse of children but has not yet been arrested.
KXAS reports that officer Joe Ramos is charged with indecency with a child and sexual assault of a child. The alleged victims are both male and female. The case against Ramos will be heard by a grand jury before a warrant is issued for his arrest. That process is expected to take at least one month. Ramos remains on duty and the Dallas police department has not initiated an investigation.
