Michigan cop facing new sex misconduct charges
A Jackson County, Michigan, sheriff's deputy who was arrested for the sexual abuse of a prisoner in February is now charged for his alleged sexual misconduct with a second woman.
The Jackson Citizen-Patriot says that deputy Tyler Jeffreys first arrest was after he was accused of having sex with a woman who he was guarding at a hospital with the understanding that he would help her to get out of jail. A female employee of the same hospital has come forward with claims that Jeffreys had unwanted sexual contact with her on two occasions and was also harassing her. At one point she says that the deputy paged her 70 times in one day. Jeffreys is charged with second degree criminal sexual conduct, two counts of fourth degree criminal sexual conduct and stalking. He will appear in court next on May 17th.
