North Carolina deputy facing child sex charges
A former sheriff's deputy in Wake County, North Carolina, was charged this week with sexually assaulting a 14 year old boy.
WRAL reports that deputy Steven Diver is charged with statutory sex offence and soliciting a child. Diver became acquainted with child during conversations held on a popular website. The sexual assault took place last year. Diver was still on the job at the time of the attack.
