California cop arrested for on-duty rape
A Riverside County, California, sheriff's deputy was arrested last Wednesday for on-duty sexual misconduct in November of 2004.
The North County Times says that deputy John Leseburg was placed on administrative leave on March 28th while an investigation was conducted. He is now charged with two counts of sexual battery, two counts of assault under color of authority and one count of rape by use of a foreign object. Leseburg will appear in court next on may 23rd. He is currently free on 50 thousand dollars bail.
