Ohio cop sentenced to $250 fine for sexual abuse
A police officer in Jackson, Ohio, was sentenced to pay a 250 dollar fine and undergo counselling on Monday for the repeated sexual abuse of a teenager.
The Akron Beacon Journal says that officer Thomas Wyatt was accused of inappropriately touching the teen - who was a family member - between 2001 and 2003 and was found guilty of one count of sexual imposition. Wyatt will also be forced to register as a sex offender. He resigned from his job shortly before pleading guilty to the charge last month.
