Maryland cop arrests lost baseball fans
A Baltimore, Maryland, police officer is accused of arresting a couple who asked for directions when they got lost after a baseball game last week.

An Associated Press report says that officer Natalie Preston was approached by a couple from Virginia who needed directions to the interstate highway. The officer wrote them a citation for failing to stop for a stop sign and ordered them to leave the area. Preston arrested the couple - ostensibly for trespassing - when they stopped a few minutes later to call family members for directions. The couple spent eight hours in jail before being released without charges.
