New Jersey cop convicted in computer purchase fraud
A police officer in East Orange, New Jersey, was found guilty on Tuesday of using fake contractors and over-inflating prices for computer equipment sold to the police department.

An Associated Press report says that officer Norman Price is accused of using fake companies to artificially inflate prices of computer equipment sold to the department by more than 100 thousand dollars. Price was found guilty of money laundering, official misconduct, conspiracy to commit official misconduct, compensation for part official behaviour and various other conspiracy and fraud related charges. He will be sentenced on July 7th.
