Massachusetts cops throw $30,000 in the garbage
Police in Somerville, Massachusetts, accidentally threw more than 30 thousand dollars in the garbage last week.

WCVB reports that the money was located in a desk which someone had moved to a garbage facility evidently because they mistook the desk for garbage. By the time the mistake was discovered last Wednesday the desk had been buried in a local landfill. Somerset police chief Robert Bradley claims that even with heavy equipment the desk and money could not be recovered. An investigation will be conducted to determine whether or not any discipline is necessary.

Should I believe cops leave large ammounts of money in a desk, or, should I believe money is kept in the evidence room, a safe, or a bank? Why does this sound like an excuse, for $30,000 to be missing? it loks to me, that the cover up, was in the police dept., not the dump!!
