South Carolina cop arrested for tipping of drug dealer
A Marlboro County, South Carolina, sheriff's deputy was arrested last Thursday and charged with misconduct in office.
An Associated Press report says that deputy George McLeod is accused of providing a drug dealer with information which the drug dealer used to evade arrest. The man allegedly gave McLeod money in exchange for information about ongoing police drug investigations.
