Georgia assistant chief resigns
Two days after the resignation of the chief the assistant chief of the DeKalb County, Georgia, police department has also resigned.
An Associated Press report says that assistant chief R.P. Flemister resigned on Wednesday hours after the release of an audio tape in which he has a profanity-laced conversation with another officer about a third officer. Flemister has been on paid leave.
