Ontario cop arrested for extortion, kidnapping
An Ontario Provincial Police officer stationed at the provincial legislature in Toronto was arrested last week for extortion and kidnapping.

The Toronto Sun says that constable Curtis Barber is charged with kidnapping, extortion, possession of a dangerous weapon and uttering threats. Barber and another man are accused of abducting a man and then forcing a man to deposit 50 thousand dollars into an offshore band account at gunpoint. The incident took place in the Chatham area. Barber is being held in custody.
