California cop pleads guilty to leaving threatening message
A police officer in Napa, California, pleaded guilty last Tuesday to making an annoying telephone call.

CBS 5 reports that sergeant Gil Gallegos is accused of making a call on behalf of a business owned by his mother in law and leaving a threatening message on the voicemail. Investigators were presented with the message in connection with an arson investigation. Gallegos was not charged in the arson case. His wife pleaded guilty to a similar charge on the same day. Both are facing six months in jail when they are sentenced on May 30th. Gallegos is no longer a police officer.
