New York cop arrested for assault
An Albany, New York, police officer was arrested last Friday and charged with assault and filing a false police report.
Capital News 9 says that officer Michael Geraci was videotaped assaulting a 73 year old man. The video shows the officer dragging the man from his vehicle by his ankles and smashing the man's head one the pavement. Geraci faces a possible four year prison sentence if he is convicted. He is the son of Schenectady, New York, police chief Michael Geraci.
