New York cop charged with forgery
A Utica, New York, police officer pleaded not guilty to two dozen charges including forgery on Monday.
The Utica Observer-Dispatch says that sergeant James Franco is accused of signing the names of other officers on official police department documents. He is charged with 12 counts of forgery and twelve counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument.
