Florida cop arrested, fired
A sheriff's deputy in Collier County, Florida, was arrested last Wednesday for driving under the influence of an intoxicant.

WBBH reports that lieutenant Scott Anderson was arrested after a high speed chase. The arrest was Anderson's third in the last two months. He was arrested for driving under the influence of painkillers in February and again in March for false prescriptions for pain medication. This time around Anderson is charged with high speed fleeing and eluding and wilful and wanton reckless driving. He is being held in custody and has been fired from his job. Another Collier deputy - Craig Marshall - was also arrested for driving under the influence in a separate incident on the same day.
