Colorado cop arrested for domestic abuse, drunk driving
A police officer in Pueblo, Colorado, was arrested on ASunday for drunk driving and domestic.
KKTV reports that officer Garret Ortiz was discovered by officers who responded to his home standing next to his police cruiser in uniform and smelling of alcohol. Police were called to a home on a domestic violence complaint. Ortiz and his girlfriend had spent the night before drinking when he was called to work an overtime shift. The couple reportedly had a fight over whether or not he should go in to work. Ortiz is also accused of slashing one of the tires on her car.
