Texas cop kills wife, self
A police officer in McAllen, Texas, killed his wife before killing himself last Thursday.
KGBT reports that officer Guadalupe Lozano called police on a non-emergency line and told them to get to his home quickly. By the time officers arrived they found Lozano and his wife dead. Evidence suggests that Lozano died from a self inflicted gunshot wound. Lozano's wife died from asphyxiation. Family and friends of the couple say that they had been experiencing some problems and may have been heading for a separation.
