Indiana cop arrested for violating restraining order
A Union County, Indiana, sheriff's deputy was arrested on Saturday for violating a restraining order.

The Richmond Palladium-Item says that deputy Chris Laird is charged with invasion of privacy by violation of a restraining order and resisting law enforcement. Laird was the subject of a court order preventing him from going near a woman and her children and preventing him from attending the county high school except for official business. He was arrested at a high school even attended by one of the people he was ordered to stay away from. Laird has been placed on administrative leave with pay and is currently free on a five thousand dollar bond.
