Illinois cop fired after shooting at husband
A Chicago police officer was fired this week for shotting a gun at her estranged husband last month.

The Chicago Sun-Times says that officer Alicia Roman-Gomez was arrested after she fired a gun seven times in the direction of her estranged husband outside of his home. The officer was not on duty but was in uniform at the time of the April 10th incident. She is charged with aggravated assault and criminal damage to property. Roman-Gomez is currently free on a three thousand dollar bond. Her husband has obtained a protection order and is now seeking a divorce.
