New York cop facing drug conspiracy charges
A New York City police officer was charged last Thursday for plotting with a drug dealer to steal cocaine and then sell it.

The Associated Press reports that officer Kirsix De La Cruz was indicted by a grand jury on charges of conspiracy to distribute cocaine and conspiracy to commit robbery. De La Cruz is accused of hiding the name of a co-conspirator on prior drug charges and agreeing to share in the profits of stolen drugs in exchange for her help. She was originally arrested in April and remains free on 50 thousand dollars bond.
