2 Tennessee cops arrested on drug charges
Two Memphis, Tennessee, police officers were arrested on Sunday as part of an ongoing police corruption investigation

The Memphis Flyer says that officers Ted Williams and Terrance Harris are the 18th and 19th Memphis police officers to be arrested in the investigation so far. Williams is accused of robbing drug dealers who travelled along a local portion of an interstate highway. He was caught by investigators during a sting operation set up by an informant. Harris is accused of trafficking cocaine. He became the subject of an investigation after depositing nearly 150 thousand dollars into his bank account during a two month period in 2004. Harris reportedly had a lifestyle far above the means of his police officer salary.
